The department warned of fog formation in the early morning hours in the highlands and the Badia regions, as well as slippery roads in areas that are tipped to see rain.
Over the next two days, similar moderate conditions are forecast to persist with the appearance of clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
In Amman, mercury levels today will hover around a fair 22 Celsius degree, dropping to 13C during night hours. Meanwhile, the Gulf of Aqaba will see 28C, sliding to 19C during night.
