The extension of voting time is connected to the heavy voter turnout not its percentage
The extension of voting time is primarily connected to the heavy voter turnout in a specific election district not to the percentage of that district voter turnout. Jehad Al-Momani, Independent Election Commission spokesman said at a press conference about the possibility to extend the time to vote which will end at 7.00pm.
The Independent Election Commission spokesman confirmed that the commission has the right to extend the time to vote until 9.00pm.
He also explained that there are 23 polling stations across the country dedicated to disabled people and those with special needs.
