AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs Ali Al-Ayed on Tuesday said that the there will be no blanket lockdown on Thursday which had been already announced a public holiday marking Prophet Mohammad’s birthday.
The minister, who was responding to queries about a possible curfew on Thursday, told Petra that the lockdown will be limited to Fridays, except for prayer time, as announced earlier.
Al-Ayed, who is also the government's official spokesperson, said the fact that there will no lockdown on Thursday requires the public to continue to adhere to health safety protocols and avoid visits and gatherings.
