AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are forecast to rise few degrees on Sunday, marking 3-4C above their annual average, but it will be fair in the hilly areas and plains, and relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, th JMD added.
Over the next two days, a slight in mercury levels is forecast, so the weather will be moderate in most areas of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be relatively hot, the JMD predicted.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach a high of 32 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 18C at night, while highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 35C, and lows will stand at 25C during night hours.
