AMMONNEWS - The heatwave that began impacting the Kingdom on Sunday is forecast to continue until today, as sweltering weather conditions are forecast to prevail nationwide, on Friday, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times, and stirring dust in the Badia regions, the JMD added.
As for tomorrow, the heatwave is expected to recede, on Friday, the first day of Eid Al Adha.
Temperature in Amman are forecast to range between 39 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees, while temperatures in the port city of Aqaba will reach a high of 40 degrees during the day, sliding to 27 degrees at night.
