AMMONNEWS - Inspection crews affiliated to the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), in cooperation with the competent security departments, have seized a facility on Wednesday in Wadi Al-Ish area in Zarqa Governorate manufacturing non-medically approved face masks using low-quality components, namely fraud filters.
In a press statement Wednesday, the JFDA said the unapproved equipment were confiscated, and legal measures will be taken against the person concerned, calling on citizens to contact the JFDA to report any violations in this regard.
The merchandise was seized as part of the JDFA's efforts and campaign to fight fraud products amid the Coviod-19 pandemic at the national level.
