AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Friday are forecast to increase, bringing warm weather in hilly areas and relatively hot weather to the rest of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
As for tomorrow, the JMD forecast unstable weather conditions as temperatures are expected to 6 degrees below the annual average, bringing relatively cold weather nationwide and warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea area and the port city of Aqaba.
Rainfall is forecast during the day, especially in the north and center of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and lightning with westerly brisk winds with powerful gusts raising dust prior to rainfall, according to the weather department.
The JMD warned of slippery roads and low visibility due to dust, especially in Badia areas over the weekend.
In Amman, temperatures on Friday are forecast to see a high of 24 degrees Celsius during the day and a low of 17 degrees at night, while highs in the port city of Aqaba will jump to 37 degrees, and lows will stand at 23 degrees at night.
