Jabir : No COVID-19 recorded in Jordan on Tuesday, only 3 at borders
AMMONNEWS -For a second consecutive day, no new COVID-19 cases were reported in Jordan on Tuesday, but only three cases for truck drivers at the Kingdom's borders, Minister of Health Saad Jabir announced.
Speaking from the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, the minister said one of the three is a Jordanian while the other two are Arab nationals.
With these cases, the caseload rises to 428, including 124 active cases still receiving treatment at hospitals, the minister noted, adding that 15 patients have recovered and left hospitals, bringing the recovery tally to 297.
Furthermore, more than 2,915 COVID-19 tests were conducted today, according to the minister, who said the flatting of the curve indicates that 'our epidemiological status is excellent'.
Jabir announced health clinics will next Sunday for routine child immunization and newborn screening.
