AMMONNEWS - Relatively warm weather conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be warm in other parts of the Kingdom with clouds at various altitudes and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
On Thursday, the weather will remain relatively warm nationwide with medium-altitude clouds, the JMD said, adding that chances for spotty showers are forecast at night in various areas of the country with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will again few degrees on Friday, bringing partly cloudy conditions with intermittent rain, accompanied by thunder at times in the northern and central areas and may extend to the eastern region, the JMD noted.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 24 degrees Celsius in Amman, 18 in the northern cities and 21 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 15, 12 and 8 respectively at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 27 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 20, the JMD explained.
