AMMONNEWS - The National Aid Fund (NAF) will Wednesday launch a government-sponsored program designed to help day workers affected by weeks-long lockdown enforced following the outbreak of the COVID-19 crisis in the Kingdom.
NAF Director-General Omar Mashaqbeh told Petra that the cash assistance program will target, in its first stage, about 200,000 families, describing the program as one of the largest in years.
He added that the Fund had finalized all logistical, technical and administrative preparations to roll out the program. Mashaqbeh pointed out that the Fund will use the unified national registry to determine the targeted beneficiaries.
