Random samples collected in Ma’an to test for COVID-19
AMMONNEWS - The epidemiological investigation teams operating in Ma'an governorate, southwest of Amman, collected about 150 random samples during the past two days, to ensure the governorate is free of the COVID-19, director of Ma'an Public Hospital, Walid Al-Rowad, said on Wednesday.
He told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that samples were taken from health workers and patients at the Hospital, vegetable sellers, food traders, poultry sellers, butchers and a number of community members, as well as security and civil defense personnel deployed at different sites in the governorate.
'The hospital is awaiting the official release of the results,' Al-Rowad added.
