No COVID-19 infections yet among those quarantined, says official
AMMONNEWS - No infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been recorded among around 5,000 people quarantined at hotels in Amman and the Dead Sea region, Natheer Obeidat, head of the National Anti-Pandemic Committee, announced on Thursday.
Obeidat told Petra that most of those quarantined enjoy good health but authorities will continue to follow the set health protocol and keep them in quarantine for two weeks; the median incubation period for the virus.
Obeidat further said that those infected and currently receive care at hospitals are in stable conditions.
