AMMONNEWS - The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) has ordered banks not to suspend work on Wednesday and Thursday to disburse salaries and maternity allowance for those who do not have ATM cards.
Earlier in the day, the government decided to give the public and private sectors a two-week leave as part of its efforts to curb the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Kingdom.
The CBJ also ordered commercial banks not to suspend key services, including foreign trade finance, to ensure a smooth inflow of commodities and services to the Kingdom.
