AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health Monday praised the media and social media platforms for promoting and making a success its awareness campaign on the prevention of the novel coronavirus and global and local fears on its spread.
It also commended official institutions for their efforts, which were made through the spokespeople of the ministries and public entities through workshops and initiatives they launched to educate the public about the risks of the outbreak.
The ministry said it will continue issuing brochures, guides and other materials and regular briefs through the National Committee for Epidemics and to follow up on publications and posts in the media and social media.
It advised media outlets to rely on specialists and official sources for accurate information and shun rumour for the 'health security' of the citizens.
