Head of the State Security Court (SSC) Judge Colonel, Ali Mubaideen, on Wednesday decided to begin the trial of four defendants involved in 'offensive chants' during the Jordan-Kuwait football match, held last month.
In a public hearing, Mubaideen indicted the defendants with carrying out acts that undermine relations with another country and exposing Jordanians to revenge acts.
Mubaideen decided to adjourn the trial to next Sunday to hear a number of prosecution witnesses.
