AMMONNEWS - Civil Defence Water and Mountain rescue teams on Saturday freed three German tourists and moved them to safety after being stranded in rising waters in Zarqa Ma'in near the Dead Sea.
Civil Defence Department spokesman, Lt. Col. Iyad Al-Amr, said that the operations room was informed that three German tourists were trapped in Zarqa Ma'in where a heavy downpour sent water levels rising.
He denied that a bridge in the area had collapsed or any people were trapped.
