AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom is expected to witness unstable weather conditions today with cloudy skies and scattered showers in all regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The rainfall may be heavy at times accompanied by thunder and lightning and forming floods in the valleys and lowlands, with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, stirring dust in the desert, the JMD added.
Temperatures are expected to on Friday, with cloudy skies and rainfall accompanied by thunder and hail in several areas.
On Saturday, a further in temperature is forecast with the clouds, heavy rain and thunderstorms, while winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times and stirring dust in the desert.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman and the northern cities for today will reach 26 degrees Celsius, and 27 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 10 and 13 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 35 degrees and lows standing ta 23 at night, the JMD said.
