Conference on business licensing reforming kicks off on Monday
AMMONNEWS - The Business Licensing Reforming Conference, organized by the Prime Ministry's institutional performance development and policies unit in collaboration with the World Bank Group, will be kicked off on Monday in Amman.
Held under the patronage of Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, the two-day conference aims to showcase pioneering experiences of a number of regional and international countries in simplifying the procedures of business licensing and revoking the unnecessary licenses.
Bringing together representatives of public and private sectors, the conference seeks to raise awareness of the importance of licensing reforming and its impact on producing an attractive investment environment. It will also emphasize on the importance of providing integrated government services to investors, as well as building the capacity of the licensing-concerned parties.
The conclusion session will be devoted to presenting recommendations, with the aim of encouraging investment and stimulating the private sector to take advantage of the opportunities available in the Jordanian economy, which may positively be reflected on the local business environment.
