AMMONNEWS - A trade delegation, headed by Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Senator Nael Kabariti, will visit Qatar early next week for a discussion on boosting Jordanian-Qatari trade and investment cooperation.
Kabariti told journalists Wednesday that the visit, organized by the JCC in coordination, cooperation and communication with the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reflects the continued keenness of both sides to strengthen the bonds of economic cooperation between the two countries.
He pointed out that the delegation will meet with Qatari businessmen and a number of concerned ministers to emphasize the importance and depth of Jordanian-Qatari relations in various fields.
'We in Jordan are proud of the good relations with the State of Qatar, whose foundations were laid by His Majesty King Abdullah II and his brother HH Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,'' he said, stressing that the private sector is looking forward to reflecting these strong relations through increasing trade exchange and expanding the base of joint investment projects.
Kabariti highlighted that the Qatari investments in Jordan play an important role in supporting and strengthening the national economy and creating job opportunities for Jordanians, pointing out that the private sector is looking forward to boost its relations with its Qatari peer, build trade partnerships and establish joint investments in a way that serves the economic interests of the two countries.
