Cabinet approves transferring routine mandates to ministers
AMMONNEWS - A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, on Wednesday, approved new amendments to four draft bills, under which routine mandate of the Council of Ministers will be reassigned to competent ministers.
A few weeks ago, the cabinet approved amendments to 50 draft bills for the same purpose, bringing the total number of draft bills that was amended to 54 bills, which will be referred to the Lower House of Parliament for approval as per the constitution.
The amendments aim to reduce burdens on the Cabinet, facilitate procedures and reduce administrative focus, so that the Council of Ministers could devote itself to strategic actions such as policy-making, planning and relevant decision-making, in addition to not draining the Council's time with routine procedures.
