AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected Wednesday, creating moderate weather conditions across most regions, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Medium-altitude clouds are also expected with a chance for light showers, mainly in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the desert areas, the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Thursday with medium clouds in the eastern areas and northwesterly moderate winds, the department noted.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Friday, bringing mild autumn-like conditions until Saturday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in other regions with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 31 degrees Celsius in Amman, 29 in the northern and the southern cities, dropping down to 18, 20 and 17 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the Gulf of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees and lows standing at 24, the JMD added.
