Prices of oil derivatives rise in third week of September
AMMONNEWS - Prices of oil derivatives rose during the third week of September compared to the second week of the same month, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
According to the data, the price of 95-octane gasoline rose from $623.1 per ton in the second week to $693.2 in the third week, an increase of 11.2 percent, while the price of 90-octane gasoline picked up 9 percent, rising from $581.9 to $634.5 per ton.
Diesel prices also climbed by 5 percent going up from $578.6 per ton to $607.8, while the prices of kerosene rose 6.7 percent, from $614.4 to $655.7.
The prices of liquefied gas for September stood at $357.5 per ton.
In the third week of September, benchmark Brent crude prices climbed from $62.7 to $65.4 per barrel.
