AMMONNEWS - As part of its process related to the financial and structural reform programme, an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission is scheduled to start a visit to the Kingdom on Sunday, the Finance Ministry announced.
The visit came after the global lending institution has concluded its second review of the national economy’s performance and issued its report, the ministry added.
The members of the mission are due to meet with the Finance Minister, the Planning Minister, the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) Governor as well as other officials in relevant public departments.
The mission will also visit certain departments and institutions concerned with the implementation of the program.
The IMF mission has recently completed the second review, while the remaining reviews are being completed as future cooperation between Jordan and the fund is being explored.
