AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected for two days, becoming 5-7 degrees above their annual average and bringing hot and dry conditions across the country with northeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Thursday, creating relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas, while it will remain hot in other regions with high clouds and northwesterly moderate winds picking up at times , the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 35 degrees Celsius and hover around 32 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down to 21,19 and 32 respectively. Mercury levels will be higher in the port city of Aqaba jumping to 42 degrees and sliding to 27 at night, the JMD added further.
