Relatively cold, cloudy weather forecast until Friday
AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold and partly cloudy weather will prevail on Wednesday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be moderate in other parts of the Kingdom as temperatures will be 4-5 degrees below their annual average, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief.
Scattered rain is also expected in the northern areas, while winds will be westerly to brisk, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will hover around 16 Degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern and southern cities, dropping down to 7,8 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 29 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 17 degrees at night, the JMD said.
Similar weather conditions will continue over the next two days with low clouds and a chance for light showers in the northern areas, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, the department noted.
