AMMONNEWS - Spring-like, warm and pleasant conditions are expected to continue Monday across many parts of the country, with clouds at medium and high altitudes in the southern and eastern regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Winds will be southwesterly to westerly moderate, picking up in the afternoon and stirring dust in the desert, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and the southern cities will reach 23 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 12, 13 and 7 respectively at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 30 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 19, the JMD explained.
Mercury levels will slightly rise on Tuesday to become 2-4 degrees above their annual average, but warm and pleasant conditions will continue with northwesterly moderate winds.
Temperatures are set to return back to normal average on Wednesday, but similar pleasant conditions will remain across many parts of the Kingdom. Clouds may appear at some low altitudes, bringing chances for scattered showers in the early morning with northwesterly winds picking up at times and stirring dust, the JMD said further.
