PM chairs meeting to discuss construction sector's contribution to growth
AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Monday chaired a meeting at the Prime Ministry to address challenges facing the construction sector in the Kingdom to come up with clear resolutions and recommendations to be implemented within a certain timetable to support the sector so that it can contribute to the economic growth.
During the meeting, Razzaz stressed that the measures that have been adopted two weeks ago contributed to overcoming many obstacles, most important of which is the buildings system adopted by the cabinet, expressing hope that it will contribute to decreasing the prices of apartments and job opportunities.
Three residential initiatives are being prepared for in the upcoming period in the governorates of Zarqa, Amman and Irbid, that stem from the idea of living in the suburbs and be affordable to Jordanians.
