AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, but it will remain cold and partly cloudy with scattered rain in the northern, southern and central parts of the country, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Fog formation is also forecast at night over the hilly areas and the Badia, while winds will be northwesterly brisk, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is also forecast over the next two days becoming above their annual average. Therefore, it will be sunny but relatively cold in the highlands and fair in other regions with northwesterly light winds, the department added.
Daytime temperatures for today will reach 13 degrees Celsius in Amman dropping down to 7 at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 14, the JMD said.
