Foreign Ministry follows up on death accident of Jordanian student in Algeria
AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs said it was following up on the death accident of a Jordanian student in Algeria, who drowned during a trip with his colleagues to the coastal city of Annaba, 550 km northeast of Algeria.
In a statement issued Wednesday evening, Director of the Ministry's operations center, Ambassador Sufian Qudah said the center is coordinating with competent Algerian authorities and the Jordanian embassy in Algeria, which had sent a representative to follow up on the accident and facilitate the transfer of the student's body, at the request of his family, from Annaba to Algiers and then to Amman to be buried in the Kingdom.
