AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) has issued 321 'Investor Cards' for Arab and foreign investors since the beginning of 2019.
The JIC said in a statement issued on Monday that it has issued and renewed a total of 64 Category-A Investor Cards; 122 Category-B cards for Syrian investors and 135 cards for individual investors.
The Category-A Investor Card is granted to non-Jordanian investors, provided that the applicant is a shareholder in a registered company with a stake no less than JD150,000 and the company shall employ 40
Jordanians registered in the social security system.
If the applicant fails to meet these two requirements, the company must have a budget of at least JOD5 million for the Category-A card to be issued.
