Baptism Site closed to visitors due to rising water levels
AMMONNEWS - Authorities on Friday closed the Baptism Site to visitors for safety's sake due to high water levels at the King Abdullah Canal, adjacent to the site.
Southern Shouna Mayor Basim Mubaideen said in a statement that residents living near the canal were evacuated, and urged the public to maintain the highest degree of vigilance and stay off run-off and dams.
