Unstable weather conditions forecast to bring rain
AMMONNEWS - Unstable weather conditions are expected nationwide, on Wednesday, as relatively cold weather will prevail with scattered showers, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Rainfall is expected to be heavy in some regions, accompanied by hail and thunder causing floods in the valleys and lowlands.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate, picking up at times and stirring dust in the desert, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 15 degrees Celsius, 18 in the northern and southern cities, dropping down to 7, 5 and 4 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 28 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18 degrees at night.
As for the next two days, cold weather conditions are expected to continue with partly cloudy skies and a chance for scattered showers including the city of Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at times, the JMD added.
