AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz will Tuesday leave for the United States on a several-day official visit mainly aimed at rallying support for a conference, to be held in London late February, dedicated to supporting Jordan''s economy.
The prime minister will also discuss with U.S. officials ways to further capitalize on the Jordan-U.S. free tree pact and open up more export opportunities to Jordan''s industrial sector. The talks will also tackle U.S. assistance to the Kingdom.
Razzaz is scheduled to meet with the U.S. Secretary of Treasury for a discussion on Jordanian-U.S. trade ties as well as aid to the Kingdom.
The prime minister will also meet with officials and representatives of international donors, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and representatives of the U.S. private sector.
