Relatively cold weather forecast for two days


AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather is expected on Monday across many parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea as temperatures becoming around their seasonal average.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief, winds will be southwesterly moderate changing to southeasterly light with fog formation at night, mainly in the hilly areas and the Badia region.

Maximum temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and southern cities will reach 18 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 11,10 and 9 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 26 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18 at night, the JMD added.

Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Tuesday, but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas and pleasant in other regions with southeasterly moderate winds and fog formation in the highlands and the desert areas.

Fair conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday in most areas with high clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD further said.
