Earlier, taxi drivers staged a protest against ride-hailing firms in the Kingdom by parking their cars in front of Parliament and stepping out.
Razzaz said the government was keen to support the continuity of taxis' services as well as just competition with ride-hailing app vehicles.
As an immediate response to their demands, the prime minister instructed the Transport Minister to give a one-week notice to unlicensed ride-hailing vehicles to rectify their status and issue tickets for unlicensed cars.
In a statement after the meeting, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister of Transport, Walid Masri said nine submitted demands by the were discussed, seven of which will be immediately implemented.
