Crown Prince participates in part of 8th Gaming Summit
AMMONNEWS - His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, attended a discussion panel on game development in Jordan and the Arab world, as part of the 8th annual Jordan Gaming Summit, which kicked off on Saturday under the title 'Technology at its Best.'
Welcoming participants to the summit, held at the Royal Tank Museum, Crown Prince Al Hussein, stressed the importance of benefiting from Jordan's creative talents, and further developing them, especially in the fast growing gaming industry, which will create, job opportunities, for the youth.
Prince Al Hussein underlined the importance of the summit to exchange expertise and benefit from experiences among Jordanian game developers and their counterparts from other countries representing the largest companies in this field.
During the session, a partnership agreement was announced between the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) and Steel Media, which organizes the global event Pocket Gamer Connects. Through this partnership, the summit will be one of the Pocket Gamer's events in Jordan and will be included to its global agenda.
The Crown Prince also checked on the Jordanian mobile games lab, and a number of designs of electronic games, which were designed by creative ideas of young Jordanians.
The two-day summit, which kicked off yesterday, under the title 'technology at its best', aims at informing young developers, about the best ways to market, launch and unleash their app's, full potential.
Participants from local, regional and international gaming-development companies, including independent developers, took part, in the summit.
