Gulf-Jordanian economic forum recommends Jordan, Iraq join GCC Federation of Chambers
AMMONNEWS - Participants in the 2nd Gulf-Jordanian Economic Forum recommended that Jordan and Iraq join the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The forum, organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of the GCC, was held under the title 'Enhancing the scopes of Gulf-Jordanian cooperation for better growth and integration'.
The forum aims at further boosting trade, economic and investment ties, as well as forging new partnerships between Jordan and the Arab Gulf states.
JCC President, Na'el Kabariti, said in a statement today that the recommendation highlighted the need to address challenges facing the private sector and turn it into incentives and opportunities to promote the Jordanian-Gulf economic integration process.
Participants also called for the need to exchange visits of trade and economic delegations to learn about the needs of Jordanian and Gulf markets.
