His Majesty voiced appreciation of the United Kingdom's support to Jordan, mainly the aid provided to ease the impact of hosting refugees in Jordan.
The King and May also reviewed current regional issues, mainly the peace process and the Syrian crisis, as well as efforts to fight terrorism.
They also highlighted the need to intensify regional and international efforts to confront terrorism that threaten global peace and security.
During the meeting, the King condoled the British prime minister over victims of the recent terrorist attack near the British Parliament in London, and voiced his strong condemnation of the cowardly attack.
May expressed appreciation of Jordan's pivotal role under the leadership of His Majesty, to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East.

King Abdullah and the British prime minister, accompanied by the Army chief and Prince Faisal, visited Command of the Rapid Response Unit (RRU) where they were briefed by its commander on duties and tasks of the unit, as well as training programs implemented by the RRU within the joint training and cooperation program between the two countries.
