Al-Sabah : call to support Arab states that host Syrian refugees
AMMONNEWS - Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said in his speech 'that the so-called Arab spring is an illusion that brought instability to some of our brothers, and delayed development, noting that it also led to a deteriorating security conditions in some Arab states and doubled challenges facing the Arab nation''.
On Syria, al-Sabah said the international community is still unable to find a solution to the crisis in that Arab state, voicing hope that efforts of the UN envoy to Syria will succeed in achieving positive progress regarding the Syrian crisis.
Al-Sabah highlighted efforts of some Arab states to host Syrian refugees, namely, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt and Turkey.
On Yemen, al-Sabah called for restoring stability there and supporting legitimacy to end the crisis which led to a humanitarian plight and threatened security in the Arab world.
