King calls for restructuring Social Association of Retired Servicemen, Veterans
AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, stressed the need to consider the restructuring of the Economic Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans (ESARSV), its law and activating its role since it's the official body taking care of retired servicemen's affairs.
During a meeting with ESARSV Director General, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Ajarmah (Retired), attended by Prime Minister, Hani al-Mulki, King Abdullah emphasized the importance of activating the ESARSV developmental role, through training and qualification of its members to enter the labor market and provide them with technical and advisory support, as well as helping the body to establish and expand its projects.
The King said he will instruct the government to provide the necessary support for ESARSV and its members.
His Majesty the King noted the need to communicate with the ESARSV's members across the Kingdom and follow up on their affairs in order to benefit form their expertise.
ESARSV Director-General thanked the King for his support to the ESARSV to enabler it improve the services it offers to retired servicemen and their families and thus improving their living conditions.
