AMMONNEWS - Cold conditions are expected to continue Monday in the hilly areas, the desert regions and eastern plains, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
It added that winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly light, with temperatures at night forming frost in the highlands, the Badia region and eastern plains.
Maximum temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 14 degrees dropping down to 4 at night, in the northern regions they will go up to 17 degrees sliding to 7, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 21degrees moving down to 11 at night, the JMD said.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast over the next days, but it will remain cold in most parts of the country and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, stirring dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD explained.
