AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but relatively cold conditions will continue to prevail in most parts of the country, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), frost formation is also expected after midnight as temperatures in the hilly areas and the desert regions.
Maximum temperatures forecast in capital for today will reach 14 degrees Celsius dropping down to 4 at night, in the northern and southern regions they will register a high of 16 degrees, decreasing to 4 in the northern regions and to 2 in the southern parts. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will stand at 24 degrees, dropping to 12 at night, the JMD added.
The department said that similar weather conditions are forecast to persist over the next two days, with southeasterly moderate winds and frost formation after midnight.
