AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Tuesday, sent a humanitarian aid convoy to the besieged Gaza Strip.
Secretary-General of the JHCO, Ayman Mufleh, said the 5-truck convoy, which was laden with 100 metric tons of rice which was donated by the South African charity Imdad.
The aid, he said, comes as part of a larger assistance weighing 300 tons that is to be dispatched later this month.
The humanitarian relief will be handed over to the Palestine Red Crescent Society, which will distribute it to the needy families in the coastal enclave, added Mufleh.
