Bitterly cold conditions with frost formation to continue over weekend
AMMONNEWS - Cold front will still affecting the Kingdom over the weekend, with rainfall expected in different parts of the country and frost formation past midnight, mainly in the eastern and southern regions.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), the bitter cold spill and partly cloudy conditions will continue to prevail until Saturday with southwesterly moderate winds.
Maximum temperatures expected in Amman and the northern regions for today will reach 10 degrees Celsius, while in the southern governorates they will register 5 degrees. At night, temperatures will to 3 degrees in the capital, 4 in the northern parts and slide down to 1 degree in the southern parts. The highest temperatures in the Gulf of Aqaba will rise up to 21, dropping down to 12 at night, the JMD added.
