AMMONNEWS - Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah and Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr Saturday discussed enhancing economic ties and removing obstacles to increased trade exchange between the two countries.
The two ministers agreed on developing cooperation and maximizing the benefit from available opportunities in each country 'in a way to activate bilateral trade and stimulate the launching of joint investments'.
They also discussed the outcome of a meeting of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee held in Cairo in late August, which made 'important results' to strengthen ties, particularly in economic fields.
The ministers agreed to hold a meeting in Cairo in February to assess the achievements of the joint committee ahead of a follow-up ministerial meeting due to take place in Amman shortly afterwards.
