Cabinet approves partial exemptions from tax arrears penalties
AMMONNEWS - The Council of Ministers Sunday endorsed exemptions from fines imposed on tax arrears that could reach 50 per cent if the payments were paid within a period of ninety days.
In a session, chaired by Prime Minister Hani Mulki, the cabinet mandated the Director General of the Income and Sales Tax Department to put forward the necessary mechanism to implement the decision and settle any disputes that might arise.
