Manaseer Machinery Trading signs as first national supporter for Jordan 2016

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2016 has announced Manaseer Machinery Trading as the first National Supporter of the tournament, which is set to kick off in Jordan on 30 September. The Company’s backing of the tournament was formalized at a signing ceremony held at Manaseer Group’s headquarters today, in the presence of HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, Jordan Football Association (JFA) President, and Ziad Al Manaseer, Founder and Chairman of Manaseer Group. The National Supporter agreement was inked by Salah Sabra, the LOC’s Chairman and JFA Vice President, and Moein Qadada, Board Member at Manaseer Group.
As the first Jordanian company to officially pledge its support to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, Manaseer Machinery Trading will play an active role in the promotion of the tournament, building upon Jordan’s solid reputation as a rising football nation. In addition to providing financial support, Manaseer Machinery Trading will act as an ongoing presence both in the build up to, and throughout, the tournament, contributing to the LOC’s efforts to rally local community support behind the tournament and to increase public engagement in women’s sports.
“With the kick-off of the region’s first-ever FIFA women’s tournament rapidly approaching, we are counting on the involvement of all relevant stakeholders from across the public and private sectors, urging them to gather around this global national event and to contribute to the fulfillment of its desired goals,” said LOC chairman Sabra.
“Jordan’s hosting of a sporting event of this magnitude is nothing less than a national achievement belonging to each and every Jordanian, and we welcome the support of Manaseer Machinery Trading, whose esteemed parent company Manaseer Group has not only had a transformative impact on the country’s economic landscape, but has also played an important role in the development of its football scene. With the support of the local community, we look forward to delivering a world-class event that will leave a lasting mark on the hearts of all Jordanians,” Sabra said.
