Israeli rabbi visiting Syrian Druze families in Jordan
AMMONNEWS - Hebrew radio reported Wednesday that the Israeli Yahyaial Rabbi Eckstein, president of Friendship Fund Foundation, is currently in Jordan; in order to 'visit the Syrian Druze families in refugee camps in the kingdom, in order to provide them with humanitarian assistance.'
According to the quoted Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar on the radio, accompanied by Rabbi Eckstein spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, Muwaffaq Tarif, noting that the rabbi had already met 'with representatives from fifty Druze family Syria, in Jordan,' and gave them vouchers to buy food, in aid of it for families .
According to the radioalso the rabbi emphasized that 'assistance to the families of the Druze is dedicated to only once, but is to help stretch for at least six months to come.'
