Real’s Ronaldo rebuts ‘absolutely false’ transfer reports
AMMONNEWS - Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo denied rumors that he was unhappy and seeking a move away from Real Madrid, ESPN reported Saturday.
“I would sincerely like the false reports to stop and to be left a little in peace,” the footballer was quoted as saying by the Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola.
“Reports that I have sought to conflicts between myself and Real Madrid are absolutely false. I am very happy at the best club in the world and very focused and confident of a new season full of successes,” Ronaldo added.
'I’ve made an exception now for A BOLA to reassert that stories [that have been published] are absolutely false and are aimed only at creating conflicts between Real Madrid and me,” he said.

Last season, the Portuguese player scored 61 goals in all competitions but Real Madrid failed to secure any trophies.
