AMMONNEWS - The Director of the Public Security Department (PSD), General Tawfiq Tawalbeh, and the Representative of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Han Young-tae, signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for exchanging expertise.
Tawalbeh said improving the performance of the PSD and raising the efficiency of the police requires that leanings from various international experiences in the area be taken into account and appropriate training programmes designed. It will help the PSD personnel gain the relevant skills and abilities. Such skills will help professionally, particularly when it comes to dealing with cybercrimes and cross-border crimes.
Young-tae indicated that the partnership with the PSD would add to its cadres' capabilities and experience. He called Jordan the most stable country in the region and the most suitable to impart such skills.
